Canonical plan gates from product configuration. Values below are confirmed in config/plans.ts. Anything not listed is not currently published — do not assume unlimited.
What this page covers
Central reference for quantity caps, feature flags, retention, and commercial tiers that affect Monitoring, Browser, Logs, Tracing, and identity features. Surface guides link here instead of restating conflicting numbers.
Why gates exist
Entitlements keep Free honest, unlock Pro+ reliability surfaces, and reserve SSO / API access for Enterprise. The product fails closed — disabled features do not partially work.

Server billing helpers enforce these keys. Payment providers must not redefine them.

Browser monitoring

Logs
- Free: log management disabled · ingest 0 · retention 0 days
- Pro: 10 GiB / month ingest · 7 day retention
- Team: 100 GiB / month ingest · 30 day retention
- Enterprise: volume and retention are contract-provisioned (fail closed until configured). Catalog may seed Team-parity ingest until overrides apply; retention authority is the contract.
Ingest is measured as canonical validated event JSON bytes before persistence. SDK: @mydle/logs. Batch hard caps in the SDK include max 500 events per request and 64 KiB per event — see Ingestion.
Tracing
- Distributed tracing feature — Pro+
- Default trace retention: Free 0 · Pro 7 · Team 30 · Enterprise 90 days
- ClickHouse dual-write is optional and operational — not a separate plan SKU. Without it, traces remain on Postgres.
Per-plan span ingest byte caps: Not currently published.
Team & Enterprise
- Team+: members, RBAC, audit log entitlement; integrations & AI insights from Pro upward

The following are intentionally unspecified in public docs until product configuration exposes them:
- HTTP / SSL / DNS check interval floors and regional probe counts
- Exact alert notification rate limits
- Status page visitor / component caps
- OTLP span ingest byte quotas per plan
- Browser event retention days (distinct from log / trace retention)
- Webhook delivery retry schedules beyond “outbound notifications exist”

Failures
- Over-quota browser or log ingest is rejected by the server — clients should treat non-2xx as definitive for that batch (see SDK
onError/ retries). - Disabled features return upgrade / entitlement errors rather than empty “success” payloads that imply capability.
- Enterprise log limits fail closed until contract overrides are applied.
